Evidence Shapes Aesthetics: when anatomy and science guide clinical decision-making

The Agorà Congress 2026 opens with a session that sums up its scientific vision: Evidence Shapes Aesthetics, a live exchange where anatomical knowledge and clinical practice intertwine in front of the audience, without separating theory from injection practice.

One anatomist and three injectors explore the three thirds of the face together. Not three parallel lectures, but a single journey: from anatomical structure to therapeutic decision, with the contribution of an international panel of moderators.

The session format

The session adopts an unusual format for an aesthetic medicine congress. The anatomist does not open with a stand-alone introductory lecture: his contribution is built on the treatment strategies presented by the three injectors. The result is a journey linking structure, function and clinical decision-making, restoring anatomy as the scientific foundation of injection practice.

Completing the picture, a live injection component and an international Moderation Panel guiding the discussion, featuring Agorà President Maurizio Cavallini.

Sebastian Cotofana, anatomist

Live at the congress, he brings the anatomical perspective: structure, function and deep-plane relationships, read through the therapeutic choices discussed by the three injectors.

Giovanni Salti, upper third of the face

Mimicry, morphology and aesthetic perception intersect in one of the most expressive districts of the face. An advanced and integrated clinical approach allows this complexity to be addressed in a rigorous and personalized manner.

Un anatomista e tre injector affrontano insieme i tre terzi del volto. Non tre interventi paralleli, ma un unico percorso: dalla struttura anatomica alla decisione terapeutica, con il contributo di un panel internazionale di moderatori.

Il format della sessione

La sessione adotta un impianto poco consueto per un congresso di medicina estetica. L'anatomista non apre con una lezione introduttiva a sé stante: il suo contributo è costruito a partire dalle strategie di trattamento presentate dai tre injector. Ne risulta un percorso che collega struttura, funzione e decisione clinica, restituendo all'anatomia il suo ruolo di fondamento scientifico dell'atto iniettivo.
