HOW TO INTERVENE
Any medical procedure can develop complications.
The same goes for aesthetic medicine treatments, which are not free from side effects. The improvement in the quality of products and protocols must not mislead, creating a “false sense of security”. The erroneous belief that treatments such as those with fillers are simple “little injections” can lead to minimizing potential dangers. It is essential to operate responsibly. The choice of the anatomical area to be treated and the best product are not the only crucial factors, careful selection of patients through an exhaustive collection of their clinical history is also essential.
A detailed history and a solid knowledge of human anatomy are the foundation for preventing problems. And, together with the ability to manage any adverse reactions, they outline the true skill of the doctor.

UPDATES AND NEWS
Complications, which can range from mild to severe adverse reactions,
serious medical emergencies, often resulting not only from the technique
injection, but also from the planning and selection phase of the
products. It has become clear that although many complications
are linked to the operator's experience, a training
appropriate can significantly reduce risks and improve
the response to adverse events.
The importance of recognizing both immediate and late complications
delayed, mild or severe is well known, however, it is essential to exchange experiences between colleagues who have dealt with particular cases. The session will discuss cases related to known and unknown situations, examining possible links between autoimmune diseases and the use of fillers, the use of hyaluronidase as well as in vascular complications, problems associated with the use of threads and infections.
The clinical pictures, treatment protocols and resolution outcomes will be illustrated.
TAKE HOME MESSAGE
Attendance at this session is crucial to gain advanced skills in managing complications of aesthetic treatments.
It is essential not only to be well prepared in the phase
planning and execution, but also being ready to intervene effectively in the event of adverse events. A solid theoretical training
and practical, combined with an in-depth understanding of the legal aspects
and insurance, forms the basis for ensuring safe and high-quality treatments.
